Boiler installation & servicing

Thames Boilers

London

Live
Thames Boilers website — current live version
desktop view

Rebuilt around the way customers pick a boiler engineer — credentials up top, service areas clear, and a quote request that is easy to find.

I stripped out anything that wasn't helping the customer decide. Credentials up front, local coverage mapped out, one clear way to get in touch.

Domestic & commercial plumbing

EcoGreen Plumbing

Kent

Live
EcoGreen Plumbing website — current live version

Mobile-first rebuild. Clear buttons, Gas Safe credentials visible early, phone number easy to find.

Most plumbing customers search on their phone. I built this around that — service areas, reviews and contact options close to hand.

Plumbing & heating

Greenhithe Plumbing

Greenhithe, Kent

Live
Greenhithe Plumbing website — current live version

Properly structured — services in order, coverage area clear, quote form easy to find.

I rebuilt it around the three questions every customer asks: what do you do, where do you cover, and who says you're any good.

Gas Safe heating engineering

Invicta Boilers

Medway, Kent

Live
Invicta Boilers website — current live version

Live site for Andy Smitham. Home page, dedicated service area pages across Medway, reviews where they do the most work.

Andy has 26 years on the tools and a Gas Safe card to prove it. I built the site to lead with that — then made it easy to ring or email.

The Problem

Good Tradespeople Lose Clicks Every Day

You can do better work, turn up on time, and know your trade inside out. But if the other company looks sharper online, loads faster on mobile, and makes it easier to request a quote, they get the first call.

The website has to do the convincing before the customer rings. If it looks dated, thin, or hard to trust, you may never get the chance.

Mobile First

Customers judge you in three seconds on their phone.

Trust Before Call

Credentials, reviews, and local areas visible straight away.

Quick to Load

Page weight that doesn’t punish customers on slow data.

Built by George Lane

In the Plumbing and Heating Trade Since 1998

I've been in the plumbing and heating trade since 1998 — first fix through to commissioning, across all kinds of domestic and commercial work. I know the trade from the tools up, not from a marketing brief.

I've been the customer ringing around for a plumber. I've been the tradesman answering calls from a van. And I've been the business owner watching work go to someone who simply looked sharper online. I've seen it from every side.

I build these sites specifically around quote requests and local trade workflows. I'm not a generic web designer who happened to pick up a plumber as a client.

from £499

First Month Hosting Included

That's the starting price for a full first build. Any add-ons — bookings, review automations — are quoted separately so you see the real number before committing.

No hosting bill on day one. Ongoing hosting and support is quoted depending on your setup.

  • Built Around Phone Calls and Quote Requests

Every page makes the next step obvious: ring, send a form, or book if you choose to add booking.

  • Mobile-First Design

Most customers find you on a phone. Buttons are easy to tap, text is easy to read, and contact details are never buried.

  • Online Booking Option

Add a booking tool that handles your diary for you — included as a bonus add-on at quote stage.

  • Contact & Quote Form Setup

A quote form wired into your email and optional SMS confirmations. No DIY form building.

  • Local Trust Sections Built In

Services, service areas, reviews, FAQs and contact details — the things homeowners check before they ring.

Bonus Tools

Three Add-Ons That Help With Enquiries, Bookings and Reviews

None of these are in the core quote. Add them at quote stage if they’ll save you faff or bring you more bookings — never as upsell padding.

Customers Book Themselves In

A proper calendar tool wired into the site so customers can pick a slot without ringing you in the van. Configured once, yours forever.

Every Enquiry Gets an Instant Reply

Each form submission can send an instant SMS and email to the customer so they know you've received it — useful when you're on the tools and can't reply straight away.

Review Requests, Sent for You

After a completed job, a short review request can go out to the customer — wording and timing are set up to feel like you, not a robot.

Booking, confirmations and review requests added at quote stage — never as a surprise at invoice time.

What Clients Say

What Other Trade Businesses Say

The site is detailed, comprehensive and user friendly. Honestly, I can't fault it — it is a first class site and I am extremely happy with the end result. I will have no issue recommending your website building services to other plumbers.
George made the whole website build simple, clear, and stress-free. He guided me through each stage, kept to timings, and adapted quickly whenever changes were needed. I've recommended him before and will happily keep recommending him.

How It Works

Five Steps from Enquiry to Working Website

Every step is spelled out before you commit to anything. No surprises, no vague timelines.

  1. Request a Free Website Quote

Fill in the form with your business details. Takes about a minute. No pitch sequence, no pressure.

  2. Short Qualification Call

A 15-minute call to check fit, requirements, timeline and likely package. Plain English, no jargon.

  3. Free Prototype Prepared

If it looks like a fit, I build a prototype of the first few pages after the call — on the house — so you see the real thing before you commit.

  4. Approve the Quote

You decide whether to proceed. Quotes are itemised so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

  5. First Version Ready in Seven Days

Send over your logo, service list, areas, and a few photos. I take it from there — first version delivered within seven working days.

Questions We Get Asked

Straight Answers Before You Send a Message

What Does "from £499" Include?

A fully-built first version of your website — home, services, service areas, reviews, FAQs and a quote form — plus your first month of hosting. Anything beyond the starting package (extra pages, bookings automation, custom integrations) is quoted separately so you see the real number before we start.

Is the Prototype Really Free?

Yes — but it comes after a short qualification call, not immediately on form submission. The call lets me check we're a fit before I spend a morning building something you don't want. If we line up, you get a free prototype before you commit to anything.

Why Is There a Qualification Call First?

Because the shape of the site depends on what you actually need — domestic vs commercial, one area or five, booking or not. Fifteen minutes on the phone means the prototype I build for you is close to the real thing, not a generic template.

What Does "First Version Ready in Seven Days" Mean?

Once the quote is approved and you've sent over the content I ask for — logo, services, areas, a few photos, reviews if you have them — I turn the first version around inside seven working days. If you drag your feet on content, the clock pauses. Fair either way.

Is Hosting Included?

Your first month of hosting is included in the starting price. After that, ongoing hosting and support is quoted depending on what you pick — a simple static site costs less to run than one with bookings, SMS confirmations and review automations wired in.

Do I Need a New Domain?

Not unless you want one. If you already own your domain, I'll help you point it at the new site. If you don't, I can recommend where to buy and talk you through it. I don't buy domains on your behalf — you keep full ownership.

Can You Improve My Existing Website?

Sometimes. If the existing site is salvageable and rebuilding on top of it makes sense, we'll quote for that. More often than not though, a fresh build from the same starting price is quicker, cleaner and better for conversions than patching an old theme.

Do You Only Work With Plumbers?

Mostly plumbers, heating engineers, gas engineers and boiler companies — that's the trade I've been in since 1998, so I understand how your customers judge you. I occasionally take on other local trades when the fit is obvious, but this is the patch I know best.

Can You Add Online Booking or Review Requests?

Yes — these are the three bonus add-ons: an online booking setup, SMS and email enquiry confirmations, and a basic automated review request flow after you complete a job. Any of them can be included at quote stage; none of them are required to get started.

What Happens After I Request a Quote?

I read every form personally. If we look like a fit, I'll send you a time for a short call. On the call we'll talk through scope, timeline, and likely package. After that I'll send a quote and — if it makes sense — a free prototype before you decide.
